Overview
Following a devastating fire to this Grade II listed building Standage were called upon to clear up and then stabalise and preserve the building. This long term work included the complete reconstruction of the west wing roof covering works to pavilions structures, Welsh slates, diaper patterning, structural timber repairs and decorative lead works.

Specialist scaffolding was required to support destabilised chimney stacks and 12m high masonry elevations. Collaboration with English Heritage and the Museum of London Archeology, together with a number of departments at Southwark Council, was essential for the project to succeed.
